N.C. District Court District 25 Seat 1

Judicial candidate research was completed with help from the Wake Forest University School of Law Pro Bono Project.

District courts hear civil cases that involve divorce, child custody, child support and cases involving less than $25,000. They also hear misdemeanor and infraction cases.

District 25 serves Cabarrus County. There are six district court judges in Cabarrus County, each serving four-year terms. All are Republicans. Four are up for election in 2026 and all are uncontested.
