Catawba County Sheriff

The Election Hub has partnered with The Chamber of Catawba County to bring local election information to  Catawba County voters.

According to its website, “The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for responding to calls for service, crime prevention, serving civil process and criminal papers, sex offender registrations, investigating crime, providing School Resource Officers at county high, middle & elementary schools and CVCC, narcotics, and the 579 bed detention facility.” The office has over 250 deputies and employees.

Incumbent Don Brown faced three other Republican opponents in the March primary and won that race with 80% of the vote.
