Gaston County Clerk of Superior Court

The Gaston County Clerk of Superior Court is a judicial officer in North Carolina who manages court administration and also certain judicial decision-making duties. The clerk's office is the primary record-keeper for the county's court system. The office keeps records for civil, criminal and probate cases and ensures public access to case information. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, registered to vote in the county and living in the county. Candidates are not required to be lawyers.

Current clerk Roxann Rankin is not running for reelection. Magistrate Thomas Brown is running unopposed for the seat.
