Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners District 3 (Democratic Primary)

According to the county website, “The Board's major responsibilities include adopting the annual County budget, setting the County property tax rate, and assessing and establishing priorities on the many community needs, especially those related to health, education, welfare, mental health and the environment.” The commissioners’ terms are two years.

There is no Republican candidate running for this position so the winner of this race will face no opposition in the fall general election.
