Description:

Chee's top issues include conservative spending and school budgets, three-way communication between the school board, families and school staff, capital improvement projects for community schools, and school events aimed at improving academic performance and community mental health. He believes in "conservative spending and school budgets that still work for everyone" and says a successful school community requires "a three-way dialogue between school board members, families and school admin/staff/teachers." He served in local municipal roles in Massachusetts. The Sun Chronicle reported that after his 2022 North Attleboro School Committee win, Chee said his priorities would include working for "strong accountable budgets" and "strong bonds of communication."

Chee was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts, where his parents operated a family laundry business for four decades. Chee was a tax supervisor for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for much of his career. He is retired and lives in Belmont with his wife, Roseanne, and their daughter. He volunteers as a girls' high school volleyball referee, delivers meals through Meals on Wheels and is a mental health advocate through Cassie's Cause, a charity he and his family run in honor of his late daughter, Cassie. He has a bachelor's from Tufts University.
