David Rouzer

Rouzer's top issues are agriculture, the economy, education, energy and federal debt. He supports aid for farmers, parental choice for where to school children, greater domestic energy production and “sensible spending reforms to reverse course on runaway spending.”  He introduced a highway bill that "would grant more funding for federal, state and local transportation projects" because of North Carolina's population growth. He was given the Award of Excellence from the American Conservative Union and is endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Businesses. He serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and he is the chairman of the Subcommittee on Highway and Transit. While in the N.C. Senate, he was “consistently ranked as one of the most effective pro-business legislators.”
