Jeff Goforth

Goforth was a proponent of handing over the Clarke Creek easement to the city of Concord to eliminate any liability for the Soil and Water Conservation District. The city of Concord took over the easement in 2026. Goforth also attended a National Association of Conservation Districts meeting in San Antonio, Texas, at his own expense. The Soil and Water Conservation District came in under budget for recent expenditures. The county overall faces a budget deficit.
