Description:
On his website when he previously ran for office, he lists educational opportunities (including increasing the N.C. Opportunity Scholarship program) and better healthcare policy (including enabling more telemedicine and enabling out-of-state licensed doctors to provide charitable care.) In a recent Ballotpedia survey, he said, “We must eat the elephant one bite at a time.” In a 2024 interview with the The News and Observer, Laszacs stated his top priority was to "increase the supply of health care services so that rural families and families in medically underserved areas can get access to primary and preventative care as well as routine medications.”

Laszacs was born in Philadelphia, raised in Tennessee and lives in the Raleigh-Durham area. He is the father of two boys and received a bachelor's degree from North Carolina Wesleyan College.
