Description:
The homepage of Morrow's site says, "President Trump has taken America back from the brink. Now, it's time we take back North Carolina." She says she is running to fight "the radical liberal agenda." The key issues she cites on her website are to cut small business regulations, reduce taxes, secure borders, enable parental rights in education, protect the unborn, and defend the second amendment. She was a surprise winner in the 2024 State Superintendent of Education primary when she defeated the incumbent, though she fell short in the general election. She has said to voters that she believes she is the only candidate who can defeat Roy Cooper in the general election.
Other personal:
She describes herself as a "nurse, educator, mother and conservative warrior." WRAL describes her as a "conservative activist." She attended the January 6, 2021 rally in Washington, D.C. and allegedly called for a military coup at the time on social media, which she has since denied. She was a missionary in Mexico and homeschooled her five children.
