Description:
Davenport says he wants a "single, streamlined healthcare program that covers every American," and wants to end homelessness with affordable housing. He also believes workers should be paid a living wage and that elected officials should have term limits.

Davenport was a former police officer in the U.S. Air Force. In that role, he says he was physically attacked in the mid-1970s and left with a traumatic brain injury which led to a lifelong stutter. He says he experienced homelessness in his past, an experience he says taught him resilience. He describes himself as a "moderate Democrat" and said in an online Ballotpedia questionnaire that he once ran for Congress in Oklahoma.
