Description:
Feldman's campaign focuses on individual liberty, reducing government spending, fiscal responsibility and increasing accountability in government. He argues that excessive government debt threatens future generations and has spoken about the need for Congress to address the national debt and federal spending. Feldman has advocated for improving healthcare access, particularly in rural communities, while reducing government barriers and bureaucracy. As a Libertarian candidate, he supports limited government, civil liberties and greater personal freedom. He says, “War is immoral, counterproductive and costly.”

Feldman lives in Winston-Salem and is an internationally recognized dermatologist and medical researcher who is on the faculty of the Wake Forest School of Medicine. He is married, has two sons and enjoys magic as a hobby. He authored a novel, Bent Toward Justice, and founded an online museum, Promised Land, both of which are explorations of Israeli relations with Palestine. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago and an MD and Ph.D. from Duke University.
