Description:

The issues of importance to him are advancing Charlotte's mobility goals, supporting first responders, enabling a better public transportation system and aligning the Unified Development Ordinance with the city's economic development goals. He played a role last year when voters in his district pushed back on a developer who wanted to build a residential complex adjacent to a bald eagle habitat. WFAE noted that he was once skeptical of the city’s transit system but has evolved to become one of the transit plan’s biggest backers.

Driggs has a bachelor’s degree from Princeton and also studied at Berlin and Oxford Universities. He has lived in South Charlotte since 2011 and is endorsed by MeckGOP.
