Description:
His website lists his top issues as public safety (increasing funding for police and medics), keeping taxes low, growing in a way that doesn't overburden schools, and managing traffic challenges. He takes credit for the town’s AAA bond rating and says he helped bring jobs through Atrium Healthcare of Lake Norman. He also says he helped raise $25MM to build The Cain Center for the Arts. He says he supports the sales tax increase because of the infrastructure needs and because a significant portion of the tax increase will be paid for by people who are not county residents.
