Dedmon says he wants to bring “a moderate perspective to the Commission, collaborating with others to prioritize the essentials of good governance: Public Safety, Infrastructure, and Managed Growth.” On his website he calls out the lack of transparency of the current board, such as only five addresses (not “homeowners who would be directly impacted”) received notification of a proposed data center to be constructed in town.
