Description:

Stinson-Wesley's top issues are housing instability, food insecurity, and women's issues.  She told The Charlotte Observer that she wants Pineville to "manage traffic and development as we grow."  She is a supporter of the sales tax referendum because she says the "Blue Line extension would help Pineville." She also served for one term on the CMS Board of Education District 6 (2012-14) and ran unsuccessfully for a CMS At-Large Board of Education position in 2015.

Stinson-Wesley has a bachelor's from Meredith College and a master’s degree in Divinity and a certificate in Women's Studies from Duke University. She is a mother of two and a registered Democrat. She has lived in Pineville for 19 years. She is endorsed by MeckDems and the LGBTQ Democrats of NC.
